One American from downed fighter jet rescued, US official says

WASHINGTON, April 3 (Reuters) – One of the two Americans from an F-15 fighter jet downed in Iran has been rescued, a U.S. official told Reuters on Friday.

The official did not say who carried out the rescue effort or provide any further details about how it occurred.
