There are five 'No Kings' protests planned near Ionia on March 28

“No Kings” is organizing widespread protests in late March against the administration of President Donald Trump, with at least five planned near Ionia County.

More than 1,000 planned demonstrations have been confirmed across the U.S. — with more than 80 at varying times March 28 in Michigan, according to the organization’s online event map.

“(This) mobilization is expected to be even larger than (in October 2025), as more and more Americans rise up against (Trump’s) increasing authoritarianism and federal abuses,” the organization wrote in a release Feb. 17.
