A few years ago, my reporting changed for the better.
Knowing that things were changing in my company in the summer of 2023, my goal was to become a better sports reporter in all facets. This meant I wanted to write more feature stories, and not necessarily get rid of traditional game stories completely but make my writing more unique.
In this industry, it’s always good to up your game, and I believe that’s what I’ve done with the several feature stories I’ve written on Cheboygan-area athletes, coaches and more.
It’s why I love this job.
Over the last year or so, a ton has gone on and I’ve been there to cover basically all of it when it comes to sports in this area. I’m also extremely thankful you readers have stuck with me through the years and have trusted me and my work.
