The quarterfinal round of the College Football Playoff begins New Year’s Eve, with No. 2 Ohio State taking on No. 10 Miami in the Cotton Bowl. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. ET. The winner advances to the CFP semifinals.
The Dec. 31 lineup also includes four additional bowl games featuring plenty of name-brand programs. The New Year’s Day slate then starts with No. 4 Texas Tech playing No. 5 Oregon in the Orange Bowl at 12 p.m.
No. 1 Indiana and No. 9 Alabama face off in the Rose Bowl at 4 p.m., and the Sugar Bowl rounds out the Jan. 1 lineup with a game between No. 3 Georgia and No. 6 Ole Miss at 8 p.m.
