The Detroit Lions (8-6) welcome in the Pittsburgh Steelers (8-6) to Ford Field in a pivotal late-season matchup for both.
The Steelers have their sights set upon creating some distance between themselves and the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North race. For Detroit, the Lions’ long shot odds of rallying back to win the NFC North requires perfection the rest of the way and help in other places.
In order to win the NFC North, Detroit needs to win out, have the Chicago Bears lose their final two games and for the Packers to lose one of its final two games versus Baltimore or at Minnesota or tie in both. Capturing an NFC Wild Card berth likely depends upon the Lions winning out as well.
