Signing day is here, and every school in the nation is looking to lock in their 2026 recruiting classes. For Michigan State, it is a somewhat complicated day, after undergoing a coaching change.
The Spartans have gotten a signing day flip today, but have now suffered a loss to a signing day flip. Utah has flipped Michigan State defensive line commit Fameitau Siale.
A Seattle (WA) native, attending the Washington high school powerhouse O’Dea, Siale is a 6-foot-4, 250 pound strong side defensive end. Siale is ranked as a high 3-star prospect, and has the offer list to back up the rating. Michigan State initially beat out his hometown Huskies for the initial commitment, but he is now staying out west.
Losses were to be expected in the coaching change, but this one stings just a little more.
