Officers responded to a report of a fight on the bus at Cassady Avenue and Airport Drive on Columbus’ Northeast Side. On arrival, they found the victim suffering from injuries sustained in the fight.

The victim was transported in critical condition to the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, police said. Due to the nature of the injuries, the Columbus police Homicide Team is investigating.

Police said that the victim and suspect knew each other. The suspect was arrested by Columbus police patrol officers a short distance away.
