In recent years, Black Friday has gained a companion in Cyber Monday.
The first Cyber Monday occurred in 2005 for online purchasing, but the two days have essentially merged into one big Cyber Week, USA Today reported Nov. 18.
Online sales behemoth Amazon said its Cyber Monday would begin Nov. 20 and run through Dec. 1.
