If you’re traveling back into Binghamton Nov. 30 after the Thanksgiving holiday, it’s important to keep an eye on the weather.
Luckily, National Weather Service Binghamton meteorologist Kaitlyn Lardeo said, in terms of expected conditions, nothing “out of the ordinary” is in the forecast for the Binghamton area that Sunday.
While there is some rain and snow anticipated all day, Lardeo said the weather will be more of a “nuisance,” than something to worry about for travelers.
Here’s a detailed look into the weather Nov. 30 in Binghamton, according to the National Weather Service.
What will the weather be like Nov. 30 in Binghamton?
Lardeo said Binghamton-area residents can expect a mix of rain and snow showers in the afternoon. However, as the temperature rises throughout the day, the mix of precipitation is likely to turn into just rain for most of the area and little-to-no accumulation is expected.
There is a 70% chance of rain and snow showers before 1 p.m., but this will turn into just rain showers after 1 p.m. The afternoon further shows cloudy skies and a high near 41 degrees.
The chance of precipitation significantly diminishes into the evening of Nov. 30, showing a 40% chance of rain showers before 1 a.m. with mostly cloudy skies and a low around 28 degrees.
