'Suspicious death' in Gulf Breeze is now full homicide investigation

Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Investigators are now investigating the suspicious death in a Gulf Breeze home on Tuesday as a homicide.

The SRSO said the death of 25-year-old Reagan Barber reported Nov. 25 will now be investigated as a homicide after initially being labeled as a “suspicious death.” She was found in a home in the 3200 block of Santa Rosa Drive.

The department’s Major Crimes Unit has uncovered a person of interest in the homicide and are “actively following leads,” according to a release.

Anyone with information regarding the homicide is asked to contact the SRSO at 850-983-1190.

Officials did not release further information.
