When you wake up early on Thanksgiving morning and look at the list of dishes you have to cook up before dinner, don’t forget to turn on the 99th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
This year, when you tune in to the performances, keep an eye out for three Vero Beach High School juniors performing as part of Macy’s Great American Marching Band. The band has 245 members
Last spring, the three students — Juan Celin, trumpet; Cole Lancaster, trumpet; and Annabelle Robins, flute — took a chance and submitted an audition for the Macy’s Parade.
Getting accepted to join the Macy’s Great American Marching Band, which debuted in 2006, was a dream come true for these teens.
“This was a dream of mine since eighth grade,” said Robins, Vero Beach High School band drum major.
When is the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade in 2025?
The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is on Thanksgiving, Nov. 27, at 8:30 a.m. in New York City. It will run for three-and-a-half hours, USA Today reported.
Where can I watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade in 2025?
The event will be telecast on NBC starting at 8:30 a.m. It will also stream on Peacock, and Fubo subscribers will also be able to watch. An encore on NBC will follow at 2 p.m.
