Taco City, the beloved Cocoa Beach staple located at 2955 S. Atlantic Ave., will close its doors on December 2.
But fans of the restaurant can breathe easy — Taco City isn’t going far. A brand-new location is set to open at 1 S. Orlando Ave., Cocoa Beach, with a target opening date in mid to late January.
Owner Bobby Goldberg is saying goodbye to the 72-year-old building but will preserve the food and laid-back ambiance at the new location.
Former general manager Dan Brume has returned to ensure the family recipes continue to shine.

“We were just talking about all the memories here. We will miss the iconic location! I hope they do as well in their new location,” wrote Coleen Holm Bowman.
Dave Fox wrote, “I’ll still be going as long as they don’t change their taco Tuesdays and keep the same menu.”
