Iowa State basketball is headed to Las Vegas with a perfect 4-0 record, but T.J. Otzelberger’s men’s team will receive its biggest challenges yet at the Players Era Festival.
The Cyclones secured another lopsided win over Stonehill in their lone contest last week, but this will be a much busier slate of games. Iowa State opens the Players Era Festival against St. John’s on Monday, Nov. 24 and it will be followed up with a game against Creighton on Tuesday, Nov. 25. The Cyclones will play another game on Nov. 26 or 27; the matchup will depend on other outcomes throughout the 18-team tournament.

Iowa State rankings update
Iowa State moved up one spot to No. 13 in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll. The Cyclones were ranked No. 14 last week.
In the AP poll, Iowa State bumped up to No. 15. The Cyclones were previously No. 16.
