Most Florida high school football teams are finished.
The regular season or the first round of the FHSAA playoffs last week eliminated them. The remaining few will look to stay alive and continue their state championship dreams.
The Volusia-Flagler area still has three teams — DeLand, Mainland and Spruce Creek — in the brackets. While Spruce Creek hits the road to Lake Mary, DeLand hosts Boone and Mainland welcomes Mosley to town for the regional semifinals Friday, Nov. 21.

The victors will play beyond Thanksgiving while the losing teams will kick off their offseasons.
