Cincinnati Bengals wideout Ja’Marr Chase has lost the appeal of his one-game suspension.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reported the news, meaning Chase will miss the Bengals’ Week 12 game against the New England Patriots.
Chase’s suspension stems from him spitting at Steelers defender Jalen Ramsey during their final altercation during last week’s game.

Initially, Ramsey got ejected from the game for throwing a punch. But after the game, the Steelers veteran accused Chase of spitting on him, which Chase himself denied in his own media session.
Video later emerged of Chase appearing to spit on Ramsey, which led to the NFL investigating the incident and suspending the Bengals star. His suspension appeal was handled by appeals officer and former NFL wideout Jordy Nelson.
