BUCYRUS – The Crawford County Humane Society, 3590 Ohio 98, is highlighting two pets seeking homes this week.
Rainy is a female German shepherd-husky mix who the staff estimates to be around one year old. She was brought in Oct. 7 as a stray with a horrible case of mange and was never reclaimed. Rainy is an affectionate, friendly and playful girl. She does well on leash, the Humane Society staff reported.
Rainy still has some patchy spots where her hair is growing back, but she is ready for her forever family and home.
Nochi is a 5 1/2-year-old female calico and white cat. She was surrendered on Oct. 7 when her owner said that she just could not keep her anymore.
Nochi is your average couch potato. She does not really care to be held, but loves being petted and she enjoys laying on a lap. Nochi is already spayed, so with an approved application, she could potentially go home with her new owner the same day.
