Bruce Springsteen concerts in Rochester, NY

Springsteen has a huge Rochester fanbase.

His seventh and most recent show here was in 2016 at Blue Cross Arena and sold out in 40 minutes.

His first concert at the venue (when it was the Rochester Community War Memorial) was in 1978. But he played Rochester before then with shows in 1976 at the University of Rochester and in 1977 at the Auditorium Theatre.

Even earlier, in 1974 and ’75, Springsteen played the Smith Opera House, then known as the Geneva Theater, in Geneva, Ontario County. Tickets for both shows were $5.
