Former Bills WR Amari Cooper returns then quickly retires from the NFL

Amari Cooper’s last NFL game will go down as one with the Buffalo Bills.

That’s because as quick as he returned to the NFL this past week once the preseason was over… Cooper has decided to retire.

Cooper, a 10-year veteran, signed with the Las Vegas Raiders last week. That is the same team that selected him in the first round of the 2014 NFL draft.

Upon returning, Cooper stated “I still got some juice left.”

To bar far, he never said exactly how much juice there was.

Cooper finishes his career with 711 catches, 10,033 yards and 64 touchdowns, putting up seven 1,000-yard seasons in his decade in the league.

Along with the Bills and Raiders, Cooper suited up for the Dallas Cowboys in his career.

Bills Wire will continue to provide updates throughout the 2025 season.
