In their first game after the WNBA All-Star break the Indiana Fever lost to the New York Liberty, 98-84 Tuesday night in Brooklyn.
Caitlin Clark missed her second straight game with a right groin strain suffered July 15.
Kelsey Mitchell had a big night with 29 points and three other Fever starters scored in double figures, but the Liberty (16-6) used a 20-8 start to the fourth quarter to build separation. The Fever drop to 12-12 on the season and play against Thursday night at home against Las Vegas.
