Last season, Michigan football hosted USC for the first time as a Big Ten Conference rival, and the Wolverines had full control of the game — until they didn’t.
The pass game was nonexistent for the maize and blue, with then-quarterback Alex Orji throwing for just 32 yards. But the Wolverines ran for nearly 300 yards against a suspect Trojan defense. That USC defense is still suspect, but the offense surely isn’t. USC has an incredible aerial attack, and the run game has been working in Los Angeles. However, the Trojans haven’t played a defense of Michigan’s caliber yet this year.

Have the Wolverines figured out how to face a top-tier offense after the Oklahoma game? Will Bryce Underwood have success through the air, especially if USC goes all-in on stopping the run?
It’s Week 7, and the maize and blue are out West.
