Michigan State football to host GVSU DT transfer on official visit

Michigan State football is rounding out the 2025 season, and right around the corner is roster management season. Despite what might be the outcome of this coaching staff, and their job security, they are still working towards building the roster in the best possible manner.

The latest example of roster building strategy from the staff is their pursuit of Grand Valley State defensive tackle transfer Jibriel Conde. Following the offer of the 6-foot-5, 290 pound defensive tackle from Ypsilanti (MI), the Spartans have moved quickly to get an official visit.

The Spartans got Conde to cancel his West Virginia visit, and instead come to East Lansing. A date has not been solidified yet, considering the Spartans will be in Detroit on Saturday, but they are expected to work through those kinks.

In 2025, Conde recorded 30 tackles, 6.5 for loss, 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble.
