Lions will wear all-whites with a familiar officiating crew in Week 3

A week after rocking the blueberries in a big win, the Detroit Lions will be marshmallows in Week 3.

The Lions will don their all-white uniforms, affectionately referred to as the marshmallows by many fans, when they visit the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football. Detroit wore that uniform combination in the Week 1 loss in Green Bay. Prior to that loss, the Lions had won their last eight games in the whiteout combination of white jersey, pants and socks.

Officiating the game falls to referee Bill Vinovich and his crew. Vinovich last officiated the Lions in the Week 10 win over the Houston Texans last season, a game the Lions won on a last-second Jake Bates field goal on Sunday Night Football. Vinovich was the referee in the Hall of Fame Game that kicked off the exhibition season, but the game between the Lions and Chargers didn’t count.
