Limited tickets remain for Hartland-Howell hockey game

Anyone still hoping to get tickets for the hockey game between Hartland and Howell on Wednesday, Nov. 26, will need to arrive early.

Pre-sale tickets for the game between the third-ranked Eagles and second-ranked Highlanders have sold out. A limited number of tickets will be sold at the door.

The game is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. and is preceded by a game between the schools’ B teams. Doors open at 5:30 and spectators hoping to get tickets for the varsity game are encouraged to arrive early. Re-entry is not guaranteed for anyone who leaves the arena.

The arena seats 800 spectators. There are no plans to clear the arena between games.

Hartland is unbeaten at 6-0, having knocked off No. 1-ranked Detroit Catholic Central 2-1 for its signature victory of the season. Howell is 4-1, its only loss being 4-3 to Catholic Central.

Hartland and Howell will meet again on Jan. 21 in Hartland and possibly in the regional tournament in Flint.
