For the first time in over two months, Michigan State football is the favorite this week.
The Spartans have opened as a favorite in their season-finale against Maryland on Saturday evening from Ford Field in Detroit. Michigan State is currently listed as a 3 1/2-point favorite over the Terps in Saturday’s battle between two teams that’ll be not bowling this year. The over/under is set at 47 1/2 points.
Michigan State comes into this game looking for their first conference win of the season, currently in the midst of an eight-game losing streak. The Spartans last won in mid-September, and are 3-8 overall and 0-8 in Big Ten play.
Maryland is also in the midst of a disappointing season, with the Terps sitting at 4-7 overall and 1-7 in Big Ten play. Maryland started the season 4-0 and has lost seven-straight games since that fast start to the year.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET on Saturday. The game will be televised on Fox Sports 1.
