In Loving Memory of Clifford E. Schrader February 4, 1951 – June 2, 2025

Cliff Schrader, 74, of Port Huron, passed away on June 2, 2025, due to complications from diabetes. A lifelong resident and devoted public servant, Cliff was known for his tireless commitment to improving his community. From raising his siblings after his father’s passing to serving in the Air Force Reserve, graduating from CMU, and serving for many years on the Port Huron City Council as well as on the Port Huron Board of Education, Cliff lived a life of purpose and principle.

His passion for local politics and social causes made him a strong voice for change. Cliff was a dedicated father and grandfather who showed up in big and small ways for his children, including field trips, performances, and sports.

He is survived by his four children—Jordan (Jenny), Cliff, Carter, and Alanna Schrader—and grandson Ford. He also leaves behind five siblings and was preceded in death by his son and brother Steven.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, with a service beginning at 3:00 PM at Jowett Funeral Home, 1634 Lapeer Ave., Port Huron, MI. Minister Shaun Laurain will officiate.
