Inspired by Harold Gray’s beloved comic strip, Little Orphan Annie, the story follows the spirited and optimistic Annie. Despite being abandoned years ago at a New York City orphanage run by the bitter Miss Hannigan, Annie remains determined to find her parents. Throughout her exciting adventures, she thwarts Miss Hannigan’s wicked plans and even befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Ultimately, Annie finds a new home and family with billionaire Oliver Warbucks and a charming dog named Sandy.
