Award-winning country duo Sugarland will bring “The Ride or Die Tour” to FireKeepers Casino Hotel on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 8 p.m.
The tour celebrates the 20th anniversary of “Enjoy the Ride,” the landmark album that helped cement Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush as one of country music’s most beloved duos, FireKeepers said in an announcement. Tickets start at $99 plus fees and go on sale Saturday, Aug. 15 at 10 a.m. Tickets will be available at the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Box Office, located in the hotel lobby, and online at FireKeepersCasino.com.
Kicking off Oct. 1 in St. Augustine, Florida, the tour will travel across the country before wrapping Nov. 21 in Dallas, Texas.
“’Enjoy the Ride’ was such a turning point album,” Nettles said in the announcement. “It literally catapulted us onto the ride of our lives with a carnival of hits and a life on The Road. We couldn’t let its anniversary pass without marking it as something special with our fans, live and on tour!”
“There is truly nothing more satisfying than the lights going up on the Sugarland stage and feeling our songs rumble out of the speakers,” Bush said in the statement. “I’m excited just thinking about it and even more thrilled to be celebrating the anniversary of ‘Enjoy The Ride’.”
“We’re excited to welcome Sugarland to FireKeepers Casino Hotel,” Jim Wise, vice president of marketing at FireKeepers Casino Hotel, said in the announcement. “Their music has been part of the country music landscape for more than two decades, and celebrating the anniversary of Enjoy the Ride makes this performance especially exciting. We know our guests are going to enjoy an incredible night of music from two of country music’s most celebrated performers.”
