Here's the Enquirer 2025 All-City Volleyball Team. Who made the squad?

BATTLE CREEK – Meet the 2025 Battle Creek Enquirer All-City Volleyball Team. The team is made up of members of the six city volleyball programs and is voted on by the city coaches and the Enquirer sports staff.

Taegen Anderson

Harper Creek

After setting for two years, Taegen Anderson had a big senior year as she switched to outside hitter to give the Beavers more power at the net. As a four-year varsity player, her selfless switch helped Harper Creek to an Interstate 8 Conference title, district title and a 31-22-1 record. As a returning all-city and all-league selection, showing the ability to pass in all six rotations, Anderson finished with 363 kills, 366 digs, 81 aces and 20 blocks.

Addi Dzwik

St. Philip

A fourth-year varsity player as a junior, Addi Dzwik is a hard-working athlete who pushed everyone around her to be better. She began the season as a setter, running a 5-1 offense, before injuries forced her to step in as an outside hitter. She made the switch and handled setting in four rotations without hesitation. Dzwik finished with 211 kills, 566 assists, 339 digs and a 96.7% serve percentage with 34 aces as she helped St. Philip to a league title, district title and a 25-15-5 record overall.

Natalie Jackson

Pennfield

A senior captain as a four-year varsity player, Natalie Jackson was a good teammate and leader on the court. Small for her size at middle, Jackson showcased a great vertical and was very quick on her feet. Making big plays offensively and defensively throughout the season, Jackson finished with 204 kills, 161 digs, 72 blocks and 38 aces as Pennfield was 26-18-6 overall.

Andersyn King

Harper Creek

As a freshman, Andersyn King stepped into a huge role for Harper Creek and handled it like a veteran. Her calm, composed presence kept the team steady as she played well under pressure. Running a 5-1 offense all season, she had 1,357 assists, 219 digs and 38 aces. Her ability to run the offense helped Harper Creek to an Interstate 8 Conference title, district title and a 31-22-1 record.

Emerson Manning

Lakeview

Lakeview’s hitters enjoyed great success thanks to the steady play of libero Emerson Manning as she was able to get the ball in the right positions for the offense to thrive. A vocal leader on and off the court, the senior stepped into a starting spot this season and helped Lakeview to a Southwestern Michigan Athletic Conference East Division title and a district championship with a 39-9-7 record overall. Manning had 510 digs with a 1.94 serve receive rating and 59 aces.

Sydney Manning

Lakeview

As a freshman, Sydney Manning made a big impact for a Lakeview team that was hit hard by graduation after winning a regional title a year ago. Manning led the Spartans in kills from her outside hitter position with 428 kills, 435 digs and a 93.1% serving percentage. Manning brought a wealth of athleticism to the court, helping Lakeview to a Southwestern Michigan Athletic Conference East Division title and a district championship with a 39-9-7 record overall.

Elliana Olds

Calhoun Christian

A five-year varsity player as a senior, Elliana Olds had a final campaign as a six rotation player for Calhoun Christian. A three-year team captain, Olds was considered the ultimate team leader as a positive influence on her teammates and opponents. Olds finished with 184 kills and a 92.7% serve percentage with 20 blocks. The two-time team MVP helped Calhoun Christian go 12-13-1 overall.

Adriana Olsen

St. Philip

A third-year varsity player as a junior, Adriana Olsen has made huge strides in the last year to become a strong middle for St. Philip. With good size for the position, Olsen became one of the most reliable hitters for the Tigers and made momentum-turning plays with timely blocks and key kills. Olsen finished with 251 kills, 54 blocks and a 90% serve percentage with 30 aces as she helped St. Philip to a league title, district title and a 25-15-5 record overall.

Lanie Overbeek

Lakeview

Using her size and an advanced court awareness for her age, Lanie Overbeek was an impactful freshman for a Lakeview team that was hit hard by graduation after winning a regional title last year. Overbeek was a six rotation player as a dominant player at the net and in the back row. Earning all-league honors, Overbeek had 252 kills, 326 digs and 58 aces as she helped Lakeview to a Southwestern Michigan Athletic Conference East Division title and a district championship with a 39-9-7 record overall.

Airyana Robinson

Battle Creek Central

A key leader for a young Battle Creek Central team, Airyana Robinson was a bright spot for a Bearcats squad that was 3-26 overall. Showcasing good power at the net from her outside hitter and middle blocker position, the 5-foot-11 junior had 32 kills and 86 blocks on the season playing in the competitive Southwestern Michigan Athletic Conference.

Camille Robinson

Harper Creek

Harper Creek junior Camille Robinson is a dominant force on both sides of the ball. She’s explosive offensively, and calm and smooth in serve receive and defense. Earning all-city honors once again and as an all-state player, Robinson is a difference maker for the Beavers. She finished the season with 541 kills, 77 aces, 353 digs and 41 blocks as she helped Harper Creek to an Interstate 8 Conference title, district title and a 31-22-1 record.

Irelynn Sedore

Pennfield

A three-year starter as a junior and a six-rotation player, Irelynn Sedore was the best player on the floor for Pennfield. A three-time all-conference and three-time all-city selection, Sedore is an extremely smart volleyball player an the go-to person for the Panthers’ offense. Sedore finished with 397 kills with a 94.9% hitting percentage, 359 digs and 70 aces as Pennfield finished 26-18-6 overall.

Abbigail Taft

Lakeview

As a returning senior, Abbigail Taft took a bigger role on a young Lakeview team this year and was a formidable presence on the right side of the court, while also stepping in at the middle when needed. The all-league performer had 385 kills, 75 blocks and a 93.5% serving percentage. Her consistency and positive attitude helped Lakeview to a Southwestern Michigan Athletic Conference East Division title and a district championship with a 39-9-7 record overall.
