The Ducks took a loss to open the season, but Williams Jr. played well.

The 6-foot-6 guard was one of the team’s most consistent players, while playing the second most minutes for the team from the floor.

He played 36 minutes for Oregon and made 5 of 11 shots to finish with 13 points and nine rebounds.

Williams sat out last season after transferring from Duquesne University and enjoying a stellar high school career.

In high school he starred at New Haven, where he won a state championship.
