The Most Dangerous Game
The Most Dangerous Game was released on September 16th, 1932, 8 years after the famous short story was published by Richard Connell under the same name. The film was directed by Irving Pichel and Ernest B. Schoedsack and starred Joel McCrea, Fay Wray, Leslie Banks, and Robert Armstrong. Wray and Armstrong are also widely known for their roles in King Kong. The movie was filmed on some of the same sets as King Kong.
The film has received countless positive reviews by movie critics since it’s release. It even earned a “100% Approved” rating on the popular movie review website, “Rotten Tomatoes.”
