By Joseph Hayes

The Blue Water Area has another champion.

Michigan State University redshirt junior Morgan Beadlescomb recently won the 5,000m indoor championship of the Big Ten season (13:50.25) to finish the regular season with All-Big Ten honors.

Beadlescomb was the first Michigan State runner to win the indoor title since 1999. The Algonac High School graduate and former Blue Water Area Conference runner continues to represent the area proudly.
