St. Clair’s Cronenworth named National League Rookie of the Month

It has been a special year for St. Clair High School graduate Jake Cronenworth.

Not only did the former Saints player make it to the Major Baseball League, he has had a dominant season along the way.

Recently, Cronenworth was named National League Rookie of the Month for the month of August.

It was a special accomplishment for Cronenworth, who continues to have a season for the record books.

Cronenworth leads rookies in doubles (nine) and triples (three), and is second in hits.

With rookies with at least 50 at-bats, Cronenworth leads in batting average (.348), slugging percentage (.606) and OPS (1.011) and is second in on-base percentage (.405).

Cronenworth has truly put his stamp on the MLB and continues to make a statement.
