(Port Huron Township) St. Clair County Sheriff Mat King presented the inaugural Sheriff’s Office Employee of the Year Awards during a ceremony at the Sheriff’s Office Today.
The recipients of the awards were Detective Kelsey Wade and Corrections Deputy Keith Krzywiecki. Detective Wade began her career at the Sheriff’s Office in June of 2006. Deputy Krzywiecki started in his position in December of 2007.
“I am extremely proud to be able to recognize Kelsey and Keith as our first recipient of the Employee of the Year Award,” said Sheriff King. “They were both nominated by several of their peers and have exemplified what it means to be an outstanding employee.”

The certificate presented to Kelsey and Keith reads in part:
Nominated by your peers, this is proudly presented in recognition of your daily commitment to quality of work, willingness to carry out additional responsibilities beyond regular job assignments, and your encouraging attitude that contributes to positive morale.
In addition to the certificate, Kelsey and Keith will have a designated parking spot in the employee parking lot. They each will also receive, at the Sheriff’s Office Administration’s personal expense, a one night stay at a hotel in either Bay City of Frankenmuth, along with a $50 gift card for dinner.
