SC4 volleyball celebrates sophomore class

By Joseph Hayes

It is not a normal school year by any means.

That much is clear nearly everywhere you look across the country.

But schools and programs are still finding ways to honor their local graduates and athletes that are celebrating accomplishments. Look no further than St. Clair County Community College volleyball team, which has been celebrating the accomplishments of two special sophomore players.

Recently, middle blocker Patty Pratt and defensive specialist Juliana Amey each announced their college decision.

Pratt announced she would attend and play volleyball for Saginaw Valley State University.

Amey meanwhile, has determined she will study and suit up for Ashland University. SC4 coach Michelle McCulloch was excited to see each player granted the opportunity to move onto the next level.

She said they will bring a range of skills to their respective teams.

‚ÄúPatty approaches the game as a true learner, and she continues to grow each year because of that.‚ÄĚ coach McCulloch said. ‚ÄúJules has so much passion for the game and was a spark plug for our defense.‚ÄĚ

Hear from Pratt and Amey as they discuss their time at SC4 and look forward to their future development on the next level.
