Are you ready for some football?
The St. Clair County Community College Athletic program is adding yet another sport.
SC4 is adding women’s soccer to its lineup of sports, becoming only the sixth Michigan community college program to field a team.
The team will begin play in the 2020-21 season, becoming SC4’s 13th sports program. “Our Skippers Athletics program continues to grow and flourish,” SC4 Athletic Director Dale Vos said. “Women’s soccer is a huge sport in our region and across the world.
“Adding this sport to our offerings helps us increase opportunity for women athletes and leaders in sports, as well as add to the overall collegiate experience at SC4.”
SC4 already fields competitive cross country, basketball, bowling, baseball, softball, volleyball, golf and wrestling teams.
Those interested in the new women’s soccer team can visit sc4.edu/athletics or contact the SC4 Athletics Department at 810-989-5670. If you are interested in the coaching position, you can apply by contacting the Human Resources Department at 810-989-5534.
