“Sanilac County Museum is Hosting two FREE feature events this 4th of July holiday weekend”

Port Sanilac, MI (June 26th) – Both events are FREE and welcome the public to attend at Sanilac Museum! Friday, July 5th – Family Fun Day 

This family event will run from 1pm to 5pm at Sanilac County Historic Village & Museum. There is so much to do with your kids at this event! 

Port Sanilac Farmers Market from 1pm to 5pm 

Timber Creek Petting Farm Showcase of exotic animals 2pm & 4pm 

Tours available of the Loop Harrison Mansion from 12pm to 3pm 

Pony Rides from Celebrating Magical Mobile Wishes – $5 per ride 

Ball Pythons exhibit 

Summer Reading Storytime in the One-Room Schoolhouse 3pm 

Attendance by the characters Adventures of Dog and Bear 

Outdoor games and craft activities: chalk, hula-hoops, coloring, stilts, cornhole and more! 

Saturday, July 6th – WWII Troop Train Kitchen Car Grand Opening Ceremony 

4pm Acknowledgements 

Flag Raising with Taps led by Port Sanilac VFW #8872 

Grand Opening of Troop Train Kitchen Car Display with Military History Exhibit Open House 

5pm Deckerville Area Community Choir will sing a repertoire of patriotic music inside the Forestville Church located at the Museum Grounds
