Recipe of The Day – Emergency Biscuit!


  • 2 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 tablespoon fat, (lard and butter)
  • 7/8 cup milk


  1. Mix the dry ingredients and cut in the fat.
  2. Add the milk, mixing with a knife.
  3. Drop by spoonfuls on a buttered pan, placing one inch apart.
  4. Bake twelve minutes in a hot oven.
