Police searching for suspect in Port Huron assault and robbery

Police are searching for two suspects following an unarmed robbery in Port Huron late Thursday night.

A 40-year-old man was walking in the 1300 block of 13th St. in Port Huron around 11 p.m. Thursday to meet someone when two male suspects approached the victim on foot and stole personal items and an undisclosed amount of cash, according to the Port Huron Police Department.

The suspects fled the scene, one suspect being described as a black male wearing dark clothing. There was no description for the second suspect, according to police.

The victim in the attack sustained minor injuries.
