Delong averaged 16.3 points and 3.7 assists for Northern during a memorable senior season in which he finished as the Macomb Area Conference Gold Division Most Valuable Player.

Delong was also named second team All- Metro East, Honorable Mention All-State and All-State All-Academic.

“We are extremely proud of how James has continued to improve throughout his four years at Northern,” Port Huron Northern coach Brian Jamison said. “He has become a complete player and very deserving of all of his accomplishments.

“I know with his work ethic and skill set that he is going to thrive at the next level. Him signing with Madonna is a testament to years of hard work.”
