James Delong has grown accustomed to being in big games.
At Port Huron Northern, Delong was in many as a key player for the Huskies boys basketball and football teams.
Not only did Delong contribute big plays throughout the games, he grew accustomed to helping the Huskies close out the games with a key moment or play.

Recently Delong announced his college decision, as his athletic career will continue with him playing basketball at Madonna University in Livonia.
Delong averaged 16.3 points and 3.7 assists for Northern during a memorable senior season in which he finished as the Macomb Area Conference Gold Division Most Valuable Player.
Delong was also named second team All- Metro East, Honorable Mention All-State and All-State All-Academic.
He shot 83 percent from the free throw line (111 of 134).
“We are extremely proud of how James has continued to improve throughout his four years at Northern,” Port Huron Northern coach Brian Jamison said. “He has become a complete player and very deserving of all of his accomplishments.
“I know with his work ethic and skill set that he is going to thrive at the next level. Him signing with Madonna is a testament to years of hard work.”
