My grandfather loved rummage sales, or ‘junkin’ as he called it – garage sales, estate sales, you name it. Subsequently, I too enjoy treasure hunting as a hobby. As I get older and apparently more nostalgic, finding an old piece of furniture and figuring out a way to bring it back to life is a fun way to spend an afternoon.
In one of my recent hunts, I came across KD’s Estate Sales:
KD’s Estate Sales is a family-owned and operated company since 1995. With booths in many antique malls in the St. Clair County area and estate sales in Macomb and St. Clair County, they sell any item you have, big or small. KD’s sells everything for you in a timely and neat fashion. They take pride in their work with the ability to be well-organized and friendly.
Owner of KD’s Estate Sales, Kathy DePetro shared that it was her dad, Ed Heslet who began the business over twenty years ago. Together with her team of 10 employees and volunteers, Kathy is able and willing to take on both small and large estate sales. They offer a free on-site consultation that can be done in about 30 minutes.
