If this were a game, penalty flags would have been all over the field, players would have been ejected and there would likely be some fines.
The Green Bay Packers’ joint practice with the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday, Aug. 21, in Green Bay was like that.
It began with trash-talking early on, before that gave way to some pushing and shoving, before the practice field at Ray Nitschke Field turned into SummerSlam 2.0.
Punches were thrown from players on both teams, with Packers offensive lineman Zach Tom, who signed a massive contract extension last month, delivering a couple right hooks during one scuffle.

Packers rookie offensive lineman Anthony Belton got in on the mix, too.
Packers tight end Messiah Swinson was also involved in multiple fights.
The Seahawks didn’t just go down meekly, though. Defensive players like J.R. Singleton and Anthony Campbell fought back.
And Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker, in one instance, was so irate, he threw a football off Isaiah Simmons’ helmet that could have escalated something.
Things were so hot that Packers veteran offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins needed to be restrained after practice. The teams will meet on the football field — or maybe a wrestling ring — on Saturday, Aug. 23, for their final preseason game.
