FOND DU LAC – Fond du Lac police are investigating a stabbing reported Saturday afternoon, March 7, in the 100 block of West First Street.
According to a news release, Fond du Lac Police and Fond du Lac Fire Rescue were called to the scene around 2:46 p.m. after a report of a person being attacked with a knife.

When officers arrived, they found a 50-year-old Fond du Lac man with a single stab wound to his arm. He was treated at the scene and taken to a local hospital. His injuries were believed to be non-life-threatening, police said.
Police located an individual matching the caller’s description inside the apartment building. A 48-year-old Fond du Lac woman was taken into custody without incident. Her name was not released.
Investigators said the individuals involved were known to each other and had previously lived together.
The woman is being held at Fond du Lac County Jail on a probation and parole hold. She was also arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct while armed with a dangerous weapon, substantial battery and first-degree recklessly endangering safety, all domestic-related.
