Where Wisconsin stands in NCAA NET rankings after Maryland win

Wisconsin basketball continued its strong form on Wednesday night with a 78-45 win over Maryland.

The win capped off an impressive season of home performances from Greg Gard’s team; its 15-2 record was its best at the Kohl Center since 2019-20. After Wisconsin fell flat on the road at Oregon last week, its latest blowout wins over Washington and Maryland, respectively, have impressively reestablished the team’s momentum.

The Badgers are now 21-9 (13-6 Big Ten) on the season after those wins. Importantly, the performances sent the team skyrocketing in both KenPom and ESPN’s Basketball Power Index. They also, unsurprisingly, further bolstered their projected Big Ten and NCAA Tournament seed projections. For more on the latter, here is where the team now sits in the NCAA NET rankings.
