Some Milwaukee bus routes change March 8. What to know about MCTS spring service updates

Some Milwaukee County Transit System riders will see changes made to their routes starting March 8.

Fourteen county bus routes will be altered starting Sunday as spring service changes take effect, according to a MCTS press release. The changes include updated schedules, shortened routes and long-term detours.

Route 33 and Route 34 will have an additional trip scheduled between 5 and 6 a.m.

Two routes – Connect 1 and Route 30 – have also added service to “maintain reliability” during the state’s Interstate 94 East-West Project construction, the news release says.
