Silver alert issued for 68-year-old man possibly headed toward Milwaukee

The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office has issued a silver alert for a missing 68-year-old man.

Abran Huerta was last seen about 1:57 p.m. Saturday, May 23 walking away from his group home on Aster Drive in the Village of Sussex. A news release said Huerta may be headed toward the Milwaukee area.

Silver alerts are issued for elderly persons who are missing and considered vulnerable.

Huerta, who suffers from dementia, is 5’7″ with short gray hair and hazel eyes. He weighs about 180 pounds and was last seen wearing a black and gray winter jacket and black jogging pants.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office at 262-446-5070.
