Singer/rapper/songwriter Machine Gun Kelly, now known as MGK, has taken an unconventional approach to touring around his new album, “Lost Americana,” listing cities on his tour but no definitive venues or times.
That includes Milwaukee on Aug. 13. Fans are urged to sign up for a message that will release an address and more details on show day for the “secret show,” which would be free to attend during the “lost xx road trip.”
MGK was in Columbus on Aug. 11 for the first night of his pop-up circuit, performing at the Hey Hey Bar & Grill, small enough that the media company Pop Crave called it a “backyard pop-up.” He’s expected to appear somewhere in Indianapolis on Aug. 12.
The tour is aiming for intimate venues and dive bars, and it’s abbreviated in length; after Milwaukee, he’ll stop in Minneapolis before one more show in Los Angeles.
Shank Hall, if you’re wondering, doesn’t appear to have anything on the calendar on Aug. 13.
“Lost Americana,” MGK’s seventh studio album, arrived Aug. 8.
