Here are the starting lineups for Game 2 of the NLDS between the Cubs and Brewers

Jackson Chourio is right back at the top of the lineup and the Milwaukee Brewers will send the same nine to face the Chicago Cubs in Game 2 of the National League Division Series on Oct. 6.

Chourio, who left Game 1 on Oct. 4 with a hamstring tweak, is back atop the lineup and playing left field, meaning it’s the same lineup that the Brewers used to beat the Cubs in the series opener, 9-3.

For the Cubs, the man who launched a leadoff homer against the Brewers in Game 1 of the NLDS won’t be in the lineup in Game 2, at least not initially.

Instead, it’s a man who hit another more dooming playoff home run at American Family Field.

The Cubs lineup includes Justin Turner playing first base and leading off against Aaron Ashby, the left-handed “opener” scheduled to start Game 2 for the Brewers.

The 40-year-old Turner hit a blistering two-run shot in the eighth inning of Game 2 in the 2018 National League Championship Series between the Brewers and Dodgers. The shot off Jeremy Jeffress turned a 3-2 Brewers lead into a 4-3 Dodgers lead, and Los Angeles went on to win the series in seven games.

It stands to reason Turner won’t be around for long; the Brewers logically will go with right-hander Quinn Priester after Ashby starts the game, though Milwaukee hasn’t offered concrete plans. That would open the door for the Cubs to insert lefty bat Michael Busch back into his usual spot atop the lineup, where he hit a home run against Freddy Peralta leading off Game 1 of this series.
