There was plenty of action to look back on from the past week.
Here are the top prep performers from the week of March 2-7 in Manitowoc and Sheboygan counties.
There won’t be a set number of players chosen in each sport in a given week, just including performances which stood out and deserve recognition.
This means there might be more or less than the week previous.
Another criteria is to limit selections to one player per team, per sport.

Boys basketball
Nolan Pedrin, Sheboygan South: Pedrin scored a game-high 24 points on March 5 in a 73-64 loss to Pulaski.
Kayden Schultz, Plymouth: Schultz poured in a game-high 30 points in a 70-56 loss to West De Pere on March 7.
Micah Kubsch, Manitowoc Lincoln: Kubsch had a game-high 25 points on March 3 in a 70-63 loss to Oconomowoc.
Donovan Cowley, Roncalli: Cowley’s 23 points helped spark the Jets to a 70-54 win over Manitowoc Lutheran on March 7.
Jackson Mannon, Kohler: Mannon scored a game-high 24 points on March 3 in an 82-48 win against Mishicot.
Owen Gulke, Cedar Grove-Belgium: Gulke tallied a game-high 28 points as the Rockets defeated Dominican 81-79 on March 7.
Braydon Lowrance-Eischen, Ozaukee: Lowrance-Eischen notched a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds on March 6 in a 65-48 loss to Living Word Lutheran.
Ethan Fromm, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah: Fromm had a monster game on March 3 in a 112-28 win over Wausaukee, scoring 38 points and grabbing 11 rebounds for a double-double. He also added nine assists.
Ben Prochnow, Reedsville: Prochnow recorded a double-double with a game-high 24 points and 10 assists on March 6 in a 66-39 win over Lourdes Academy.
Girls basketball
Gwenn Elliott, Kohler: Elliott had a team-high 15 points on March 5 in a 56-40 loss to Lomira.
Kinsley Ketterhagen, Oostburg: Ketterhagen scored a game-high 25 points in a 62-43 win over Winneconne on March 7.
Marissa Mehlhorn, Manitowoc Lutheran: Mehlhorn had 19 points and 15 rebounds on March 5 for a double-double in the Lancers 75-69 loss to Kewaunee.
Samantha Gilchrist, Sheboygan Lutheran: Gilchrist had 10 points and eight rebounds in a 45-42 loss to Lourdes Academy on March 5.
Boys wrestling
Seth Kessen, Cedar Grove-Belgium: Kessen pinned his opponent at 126 pounds in 3 minutes and 10 seconds on March 7 in the WIAA Division 3 team state championship, which was won by Aquinas 38-32.
Gymnastics
Clara Sieracki, Valders/Roncalli: Sieracki competed at the WIAA Division 2 state tournament on March 7, taking 19th in the all-around with a score of 33.35. Her best event was beam where she earned a state medal by placing sixth (9.0167). In Division 1, Manitowoc Lincoln’s Khloe Jalbert took 20th on beam (8.45).
