NEENAH – The Papermakers had 16 hits in the Fox Valley Association victory over the Rockets.
Jack Anzelmo was 3-for-4 with two RBIs for Kimberly. Also powering the Papermakers were Ryan Halfmann, who was 2-for-3 with an RBI; Sawyer Deering, who was 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBIs; Benny Kieffer, who was 2-for-3 with an RBI and three runs scored; Ben Johnston, who was 2-for-4 with an RBI; and Jimmy Slowey, who homered and drove in three runs.
Neenah finished with 12 hits. Mack Krause was 4-for-4, while Levi Boivin was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs.
The Papermakers scored two runs in the first, one in the second, two in the third, three in the sixth and five in the seventh. Neenah scored its runs with three in the sixth and one in the seventh.
Shaefer Peterson pitched four innings to get the win. He allowed six hits, no runs and struck out six.
Hortonville 8, Kaukauna 0
KAUKAUNA – Taiven Gass pitched a one-hitter to lead the Polar Bears to the victory over the Ghosts.
Gass walked one batter and struck out seven.
Kael Konrad had two hits, including a home run, and drove in two runs. Isaac Behnke was 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI, and Broden Butzin had two hits, including a double.
Hortonville scored one in the first, three in the second, one in the third, one in the sixth and two in the seventh.
Kyle Kress had Kaukauna’s lone hit.
Fond du Lac 16, Appleton North 5
APPLETON – Teegan Karpinske had two RBIs for the Lightning in the loss to the Cardinals.

APPLETON – Paige Schreck was 4-for-4 with a double and three RBIs, and Sophie Hermus was 2-for-4 with a homer and four runs scored as the Papermakers cruised past the Lightning for the Fox Valley Association victory.
Addie Parish was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored, while Sophie Streich had two RBIs.
Kimberly jumped out to an 8-0 lead in the top of the first and added three runs in the third. Appleton North cut the deficit to 11-3 after four, but the Papermakers scored single runs in the fifth and sixth to put a premature end to the game via the 10-run rule.
Leading the way for the Lightning was Brianna Gehrman, who doubled and drove in two runs, and Callie Weber, who doubled and drove in a run.
Fox Valley Lutheran 14-3, Marinette 1-2
MARINETTE – The Foxes offense came to life in the opener, before the pitching staff locked down the host Marines in Game 2 to earn the North Eastern Conference doubleheader sweep.
In Game 1, Olivia Fischer drove in four runs on two hits to lead the Foxes, including a two-run homer in the fourth and a triple in the first.
FVL opened the scoring in the first on a three-run home run by Madison Babcock, and later got a three-run homer from Brianna Dahlke. Natalie Bromm also was 4-for-4.
In the nightcap, Babcock earned the win, allowing one hit and zero runs over 4⅓ innings, striking out 11 and walking none.
Dahlke’s solo home run in the fifth broke a 2-2 tie to power the Foxes.
Kaya Bodam led Marinette with two RBIs.
Winneconne 10, St. Mary Catholic 0
WINNECONNE – The Wolves got off to a fast start, scoring four runs in the first inning in their win over the Zephyrs.
Libby Jahnke, Audra Schaffer, Jaidyn Haider and Neela Gardner all had two hits for Winneconne. Gardner and Schaffer had home runs. Haider had a double. Grace Mitchell had a triple.
Julia Youngbauer was the winning pitcher for Winneconne, throwing five innings of one-hit with one walk and 10 strikeouts.

Appleton North 5, Bay Port 3
APPLETON – The Lightning handed the Pirates their first loss of the season in the nonconference matchup.
Brinley Dunsirn scored three goals and had an assist for North. Brooke Schuh and Emily Apostolou also scored. Addison Schneider, Claire Zulewski and Alivia Greer also had assists.
Goalie Dylan Kenny had six saves for Appleton North, which is 11-3 overall and has won three games in a row.
Bay Port is 13-1-0.
