Kaukauna 86, Eau Claire North 57

KAUKAUNA – The fourth-seeded Ghosts scored the final 21 points of the first half and never looked back as they cruised past the 13th-seeded Huskies.

Tyler Schwalbach had the hot hand with 20 points, while Drew Bowers added 19, including six 3-pointers.

Kaukauna led 42-11 at the break.

Eau Claire North was led in scoring by Gavin Wise and Tyler Barrows, both with 13 points.

The win moves the Ghosts to 22-3 and into the regional final against fifth-seeded Stevens Point, a 58-36 winner over Eau Claire Memorial. The loss ends the Huskies’ season at 8-17.

Neenah 72, Hudson 65

HUDSON – The Rockets led for all 36 minutes as they advance to the regional final with the win over the Raiders.

Neenah jumped out to an 11-0 lead at the outset, then staved off Hudson rallies that saw the lead shrink to as few as two points.

Xavier Bezares led Neenah with 14 points. Matthias Charles added 12 points, Trey White and Cal Juckem each scored 11, and Jackson Rindt had 10.

Neenah, which is now 16-9, will play at top-seeded D.C. Everest in the regional final March 7.

Appleton North 70, Hortonville 41

APPLETON – The Lightning played a solid overall game in rolling to the win over the Polar Bears.

Appleton North, which is now 21-4, will host Kimberly on March 7 in the regional final.

Hortonville finishes its season with a 7-19 record.

Kimberly 84, Holmen 66

KIMBERLY – The Papermakers outscored the Vikings 22-15 over the last 6½ minutes of the game to pull away for the win and advance to the regional final against Appleton North.

Kegan Pleau led Kimberly with 25 points. Jaxson Wyngaard added 16 points and Alex Krause scored 10.

Kimberly is now 16-9.

Holmen finishes the season with a record of 13-12.

MARSHFIELD – The Tigers gradually built a double-digit lead in the first half, saw the Terrors get it down to single digits at the end of the first half before going on to defeat the Terrors.

Marshfield, which is now 20-5, will host Wausau West in the regional final.

Reid Hinkens led Appleton West with 16 points. Braylon Ise scored 15 and Parrion Peace had 10.

Appleton West closes the season with a record of 8-17.

Division 2 regional semifinals

Fox Valley Lutheran 64, Tomah 54

APPLETON – Caleb Dahlke led a balanced scoring attack with 17 points and Gabe Heiges and Braden Heiges added 15 and Wyatt Schlueter 12 to lead the third-seeded Foxes past the sixth-seeded Timberwolves in a regional semifinal.

FVL grabbed a 38-27 halftime advantage and held off Tomah from there.

Owen Laudon led the Timberwolves with a game-high 21 points, while Silas Cram chipped in 11.

The win moves the Foxes to 16-9 overall as they face second-seeded La Crosse Central in La Crosse on March 7.

Tomah finishes its season at 13-13.

ONALASKA – The top-seeded Hilltoppers outlasted the eighth-seeded Bluejays to advance to the regional final.

Onalaska (21-3) will take on West Salem (21-4).

Menasha closes its season with a 9-17 record.

West Salem 63, New London 62

WEST SALEM – The Bulldogs lost a heartbreaker, dropping a one-point decision to the Panthers.

West Salem (21-4) will take on Onalaska for the regional title.

New London finishes with a 15-9 record.

Division 3 regional semifinals

Little Chute 65, Winneconne 63

LITTLE CHUTE – The Mustangs had seven players score at least six points and used that balanced attack to fend off the Wolves and advance to the regional final.

Little Chute, which is now 16-9, will play at top-seeded Brillion on March 7 in the regional final.

Cooper Effa led Little Chute with 16 points. Trevor Verhagen scored 12 points, while Jack Schultz added 10 points.

Drew Lenz and Brody Schaffer led Winneconne with 21 and 17 points, respectively.

The Wolves end their season with a record of 17-9.

FREEDOM – Donovan Davis scored 24 points to lead the Irish to the regional semifinal win.

Owen Henkel added 16 points and Cal Calhoon scored 12 for Freedom, which improves to 24-1 and will host Oconto Falls in the regional final March 7.

Wrightstown finishes the season with an 11-15 record.

Seymour 77, Menominee Nation 36

SEYMOUR – The Thunder improves to 24-1 with the victory over the Eagles.

Seymour will host Wittenberg-Birnamwood for the regional title March 7.

Menominee Nation ends with a 14-12 record.

Xavier 73, Kiel 46

APPLETON – The third-seeded Hawks cruised past the sixth-seeded Raiders.

Xavier will play at second-seeded Berlin on March 7 for the regional championship.

Logan Ramczyk led Xavier with 18 points. Grant Neumann added 16 and Kyler Bleck scored 12.

The win moves the Hawks to 18-7 overall, while Kiel finishes its season at 16-10.

BRILLION – The top-seeded Lions rolled past the eighth-seeded Tigers.

Brillion (22-3) will next host fourth-seeded Little Chute in a regional final March 7.

The loss finishes Ripon’s season at 9-17.

Division 4 regional semifinals

St. Mary Catholic 75, Algoma 60

FOX CROSSING – Mason Uhlenbrauck poured in 21 points and Dylan Brenn added 17 as the fourth-seeded Zephyrs pulled away in the second half to earn the regional semifinal win.

St. Mary Catholic moves on to face top-seeded Kewaunee in the regional final March 7.

Also scoring in double figures for SMC were Tarver Trinkner with 12 points and Luke Fairweather with 10.

Powering the Wolves were Parker Lischka and Brogan Ray with 16 points each, and Braeden Leist with 14.

The win moves the Zephyrs to 17-8 overall, while Algoma finishes at 19-6.

KEWAUNEE – The top-seeded Storm took charge early and cruised past the ninth-seeded Wolves.

Evan Maccaux led a balanced scoring attack with 14 points for Kewaunee, while Connor Kilgore and Avery Jerabek added 13 each, and Dane Harrell 11.

The Storm led by 17 at the break and used a 35-23 second-half run to seal the victory.

Manawa was led by Vincente Timm with 14 points and Brayden Zielke with 11.

The win moves Kewaunee to 25-0, while the Wolves finish their season at 9-17.

The Storm advances to the regional final March 7 against fourth-seeded St. Mary Catholic in Kewaunee.

ELKHART LAKE – The second-seeded Resorters advance to the regional final with the victory over the Wolves.

The Resorters improve to 17-9 overall and will host Green Bay NEW Lutheran in the regional final March 7.

Hilbert finishes the season with a 13-13 record.

Kaukauna 53, Milton 22

LA CROSSE – It’s on to the team semifinals for the Kaukauna Ghosts wrestling team after defeating Milton.

The Ghosts will face Brown Deer/Messmer/Shorewood in a semifinal contest March 7 at the La Crosse Center. Brown Deer/Messmer/Shorewood advanced to the semifinals by defeating Waunakee 37-32.

Kaukauna established its dominance over Milton early, winning the first five matches including three by pin and one by technical fall.

LA CROSSE – The Warhawks advanced to the semifinals with the victory over the Hilltoppers.

Jake Buss (132), Carter Birdyshaw (144), Collin Hamm (165), Cooper Leschke (175) and Jared Bohringer (285) won by pin for Weyauwega-Fremont.

The Warhawks will wrestle against La Crosse Aquinas in the semifinals. The Blugolds advanced with a 45-30 win over Marathon.
